About me

I am a cancer research scientist with a passion for learning about the mechanisms of prostate cancer malignancy and identification of essential biomarkers associated with disease burden and disparities.

My goal is to use scientific knowledge, cancer research experience, and community engagement skills to improve patient treatment and train the next generation of cancer scientist. I am a self-directed oncobiologist with strong scientific communication, team building, leadership, and event organization skills. In addition, I can generate ideas for executing, analyzing, and troubleshooting experiments.

Prostate Cancer Screening Project

This year, I was one of the recipients of the City of Hope’s 2024 Kindness Grant. Along with amazing volunteers, community partners, and advocates. we were able to screen over 50 men from underserved communities for prostate cancer through the prostate specific antigen (PSA) test.
